New Cash Back Insentives

Well, it isn't official yet, however we may be getting closer to Cash for Caulkers. In early March, a Republican member of the House Committee on Energy and Commerce was quoted as saying; “Rare is the initiative that could save the job of a Michigan factory worker, help a Vermonter heat her home and put an Arizona contractor back out in the field,” Welch writes. “But one program embraced by President Barack Obama and gaining momentum in Congress would accomplish all three — and then some.”

While the name of the initive that started this seems to be shifting from Cash for Caulkers to HOME STAR, it's great seeing this initive move forward.

The Idea

Much like many other insentives is to help families save money, cut down on their environmental foot print, as well as give the service sector a boost.
